About Us

Beneath the Sovereignty of Rev. Sr. Bonfilia Mary Principal & Rev Sr. Jude Correspondent, Amala Nursery & Primary School was set in motion with 209 children on 2nd June 2004, assuaging words of Rev. Sisters bestowed a modern incentive to the surrounding people.In 2005 our institution received the Registration number 22/5. The motto of our institution was “Building the future pillars of the society.” Among the 277 schools, only 38 nursery & Primary schools were selected to take part in Science Exhibition and ours is one among them.

The grace of our good Lord was experienced through the upgradation as Matriculation in 2012 and HSS in 2017. In 2016, first batch of class X appeared to the Board Examination secured centum result with the total of 491 and Class XII appeared in 2018. The technological gadgets proved its efficient role in our teaching & learning progress from the year 2017.

The transition of gait handed over us the sense of divine presence. In the year 2025 – 2026, we are delighted to get the affiliation of Central Board of Secondary Education - CBSE curriculum. At present we emerge as Amala school CBSE. Our hearts of gratitude pray for the guidance of the Lord Almighty forever and ever.

Our Society

Mother of Sorrows Servants of Mary - started germinating in the year 1854 Beginners of the society had the thirst to work for the girls and poor inorder to make them to live with dignity. Our priority was to uplift the girl children through the ministry of education. Our society elongated and stretched its servicethroughout our mother land and other countries like Australia, Burma, Italy & Philippines by erecting several educational institutions. Education ministry was prioritised by all means. As a weapon we take education, to touch the hearts of people and teach the budding young children.

Management

Our school is managed by the Servite Sisters.Our religious congregation was founded by a group of five young women in the year 1854 in India. The main apostolate of this Congregation is educating the young for principled and scholistic achievement. Servite Sisters have dedicated themselves to uplift the generation viaserving God and mankind.
Our school was set up in 2004 at Musiri in Trichy as per the provisions of the constitution ofIndia to cater the needs of the students irrespective of caste, race & religion.
Educating the young minds is the joint responsibility of the school authorities and parents. We resolve in the formation of our students by inculcating sound moral principles along with academics so that they grew up good children Of God and responsible citizens of our country.
“Our school management organizes Spoken English classes for both teachers and students, aimed at boosting confidence and communication skills . Spoken Sessions are conducted by experienced professionals , focusing on pronunciation, fluency and real –life conversational practice.”

General rules

On joining the school a student should be prepared to follow the rules and tradition as well as advicegiven by the teachers.Students are responsible for their conduct both in and out the school. They must respect and obey all the teachers of the school.
By the very fact of joining the school, the student guarantees the observations of all the regulations. He or she must be responsible in his or her conduct to claim up the high tone of the school. He /She should obey, not through fear of punishment but with the true spirit of co-operation and respect, remembering that all lawful authority comes from God.
Each and every student should try to develop his /her character and personality by thepractice of good manners, diligent study, participation in school activities and prayers.
The first Bell will be at 8:50 a.m. and the second bill will be at 9:00 a.m. The school gate will be closed that 9:00 a.m. sharp. Students must be in the school premises before first bell.

Infrastructure

Our school encompasses primary, upper primary, high school, and higher secondary classes with 1500 students on the whole. We are rendering exceptional and outstanding learning experience to our pupils.Enriched with the establishment of Science labs, Educom projectors, Audio-visual room with over-34 class rooms, the school building consists of 40 aerated classrooms with an ever-caring atmosphere in regular usage facilitated with CCTV cameras and intercom speakers.

Effective Functioning of School Assembly

Every day, all the classes right from I to XII in a scheduled week, present their sequence of activities as follows:
Thirukkural, conversation, motivational quotes , speech, moral story, News reading , advance English etc.. and rendering a wide range of activities to support students effective speaking skill.
